“Running for their Lives”
Dusk - recently in from Irish rescue, this 18 month old girl is quite shy but very loving and good-natured. Quiet home best.
Skip - another of our “terrible two’s “! Happiest boy in the kennels, but a real live wire, who will need an active and busy home with lots of love.
Jack - this sweet, lively 7 year old has such an old face! Looks older than his years - but a super boy who adores fuss and cuddles.
Blue - Lively, but handsome boy - 2 years old and full of life. Very bouncy and happy lad.
Theo - is a big strong Lurcher who must go to an experienced owner with no other dogs. He needs socialising with other breeds. Very affectionate and loyal lad who be great in a one to one relationship. Approx. 4-5 years old.
Smokey - has now been with us for almost a year. He is a quiet lad who spends most of his day sleeping. 8 years old now, he never has much to say for himself but will be a steady and loyal companion. He would love a Greyhound girl, but isn’t always keen on other breeds. Smokey is a very handsome chap who has been passed by so many times - it really is time that he found himself a family to love.
WOODY is a big eight year old lad who has the most wonderful character. He is very easy going and is currently kenneled with another male dog. He is always up for cuddles and will make a fabulous companion.
DENZIL is one of our Irish imports. A stunning small Lurcher: probably with German Shephard and Collie thrown into the mix. He is just eighteen months old, very energetic, but very loving and great with other dogs. He would be ideal for anyone interested in doing either agility or obedience work. A real family lad who has so much to give.
Approx 18 months old
Greta and Garbo are sisters who are about three years old. They really should go to separate homes as Garbo, although very timid, is very dominant with her sister. They came from the dreadful "coal-shed" situation in Ireland and will need very understanding homes. Neither is very socialised with other dogs, but this will come in time with proper training. Although painfully shy, they are both desperate for attention and will make loving companions with the right family.
Stig - is a sweet boy almost 5 years old. He is very shy at first, but soon comes around and is a very loving dog. Will probably suit a quiet home better.
Beanie - is now seven and is fine with Greyhound boys. She is a quiet girl who has her moments. She is Ok with other breeds and very clean in the kennels.
